Oil and Gas Job Vacancy Singapore IT Desktop Technician (I307)

Responsibilities:
- Assist in configuration, installation and repairing PC hardware and peripherals according to established procedures
- Contact end users to define data migration requirements and perform the data migration if required
- Perform user relocation and return equipment to stock per approved request
- Adhere to and enforce facility security measures, company safety standards and software licensing procedures
- Assist in setting up PC’s and related peripherals for special requests
- Provide onsite technical support and issue resolution through phone, e-mails and call ticketing system
- Follow up on the progress of issues until closure with customer’s satisfaction
Requirements:
- Diploma in any discipline with at least 1 year ofIT support experience especially in the helpdesk and call center environment
- GCE ‘A’ Level holders with good IT literacy and communication will also be considered
- Experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows platform, Microsoft Office, Basic LAN, PC hardware and software, etc
- Knowledge in basic hardware configuration and A+ certification or equivalent will be an added advantage
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
