Job Vacancy in Oil and Gas Sr Quality Specialist at Spencer Ogden Location: Houston, UNITED STATES, Our client is looking for an Experienced Sr Quality Specialist to join their winning EPC team. The Senior Quality Specialist will be responsible for providing and guiding the team in all areas of projects that transmit to quality. Responsibilities included (but not limited to):
• Planning, documenting, implementing and monitoring the project Quality requirements as defined in the contract and in the project Quality plan
• Support the work to develop, review, and approve project quality plan
• Develop and apply a quality assurance initiative and follow up growth advancement processes.
• Plan, document and monitor project quality as defined in the contract and requirements
• Provide guidance and direct the quality team and support professional development of team members
• Plan and perform training activities as required
• Follow up and close corrective actions from internal project and supplier audits carried out
• Perform contract review to ensure required procedures are in place
• Coordinate internal and client quality reporting
Requirements
The client SPECIFICALLY requests the following:
-Must be authorised to work in the United States of America
-15+ years experience of QA/QC, 10+ in O&G industry
-8+ years of experience with O&G operators
-Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred
-Proven attention to detail
-Extensive knowledge of various codes, in particular AWS, ASME, and API
-Experience in lead auditing
-Excellent written and oral communication skills and organisational skills
-Proven ability to follow quality procedures and processes
- Must work well with people.
-Ability to identify process improvements
Education requirements: Degree in Engineering related field
